Toh's Aglio Olio Pasta

Twirling the spaghetti is an art. It’s as graceful as a ballerina spinning if you do it right.

Here’s a quick recipe for you:

  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 12 oz linguini
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves smashed garlic
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley
  • 2 Tbsp Toh’s Daily Chili Garlic
  • Salt + Pepper 

Instructions:

  1. Add in vegetable broth and about 4-5 cups water (or however much to generously cover your pasta) to a large pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, season well with sea salt and add pasta. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and cook according to package instructions for ‘al dente’ – 7-10 minutes. Then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the same large pot over medium-low heat. Once hot, add 1/4 cup olive oil and 3 cloves smashed garlic. Sauté 1-2 minutes on both sides until garlic is fragrant and slightly golden brown.
  4. Remove garlic from pan. Set aside for serving.
  5. Next add red pepper flakes & Toh’s Daily Chili Garlic to infuse the olive oil for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add cooked pasta, parsley, minced garlic and toss to coat.
  7. Remove from heat and sample pasta. Adjust seasonings as desired, adding salt or pepper if necessary.
