The taste that made us a hit
The story of Toh’s Chili Garlic began in 2014, when our founder, Toh, was a chef in a Japanese restaurant. He noticed that many Malaysian customers craved and would request some extra spice and flavor in their dishes. Passionate and enthusiastic, he decided to whip up a special sauce that would satisfy their taste buds and make them smile. He combined garlic, chili, oil and other secret ingredients to create a delicious condiment that added a kick of happiness to every meal.

The fried garlic bits were an instant hit with many loyal customers. They spread the word and returned for more of the crunchy and spicy topping. Thus, the first generation of Chili Garlic came into being.

Our Chili Garlic has taken its form and made its first appearance as Toh’s Daily Chili Garlic, an artisan chili garlic with a refined and improved recipe using only high-quality ingredients to cater to the needs of health-conscious spice lovers, as the humble home-made products gain popularity among wider audiences through friends and family.

The Revolution of Our Packaging
Time flies since we build our brand in 2016, with a typical Japanese style of jar until today,
to match with the taste of Malaysian’s kind of jar.
The first version of Chili Garlic was created in 2016 inspired by our founder’s experience back in Japan.
A Malaysian home-based version of the Chili Garlic emerged in less than a year.
A year later, as our business grew, we improved our packaging with the vacuum method to protect the product during shipping and retain the quality and freshness of our Chili Garlic.
Today, Toh’s Daily has three varieties of chili garlic available in different colors: Red for the Original, Orange for the Extra Spicy and Purple for the Tom Yum flavor.

At Toh’s Daily, we use only the finest ingredients for our Chilli Garlic sauce. Each ingredient is carefully selected and washed thoroughly before being blended with our secret recipe. Here are some of the key ingredients in our chili garlic:
Chilli
Our Chili Garlic is made from carefully selected chilies that are dried and crushed into flakes. We then infuse our top-of-line chili flakes into oil, creating the holy grail of our Chili Garlic. We use only the oil without the chili bits to ensure a smooth and consistent texture. Our sassy red hot oil will not only spice up your life, but also provide you with vitamin C, which boosts your immunity and helps fight infections.
Garlic
This “fiery”, and “passionate”, versatile herb, which gives the sweet and nutty taste when cooked, is known to help improve blood circulation in our body, fight off infections and boost immunity. It is so crunchy it makes you keep coming back for more.
Onion
Onions may bring tears to your eyes when you slice through its layers, but it also gives our chili garlic its sweet and savory flavor. Packed with manganese and antioxidants, it offers many health benefits as well.
Sesame Seeds
Rich in nutrients, this ingredient has a smooth, slightly smoky, and subtly bitter flavour that complements the other spices and brings out the best in every ingredient.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is our choice for making artisanal chili garlic, as it enhances the flavour with its warm and tropical notes and offers health benefits compared to other oils.

To keep up with the fast-growing demand, we moved our manufacturing operations to a new factory in 2020. Our factory is equipped with state-of-the-art machines and technologies that ensure our products are safe, reliable, durable and of the highest quality, meeting the expectations of our customers and regulators.
