Spicy Steamed Prawn
Steamed food doesn’t have to be boring or bland. Wind down and enjoy some warmth in your tummy over this weekend with this Spicy Steamed Prawn Recipe.
Ingredients:
- 7 medium size prawn
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or lime juice
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- Minced garlic
- Sauce
- 1 tbsp Toh’s Daily
- 1 tsp of Soy sauce
- Small pinch of sugar
- Fried garlic and some oil
Steps:
- Preheat the steamer over high heat.
- Sprinkle the salt and drizzle the lemon juice over the prawn, let it simmer for 5 minutes and then discard the dripping liquid.
- Fry some minced garlic and reserve some oil.
- Spread the sauce over the prawn.
- Steam the prawn for about 3 to 5 minute. Make sure NOT TO OVERCOOK the prawn , check the prawn doneness every 1 minute.
- Serve the steamed prawn immediately with the garnish.
