Toh's Aglio Olio Pasta
Twirling the spaghetti is an art. It’s as graceful as a ballerina spinning if you do it right.
Here’s a quick recipe for you:
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 12 oz linguini
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves smashed garlic
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley
- 2 Tbsp Toh’s Daily Chili Garlic
- Salt + Pepper
Instructions:
- Add in vegetable broth and about 4-5 cups water (or however much to generously cover your pasta) to a large pot and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, season well with sea salt and add pasta. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and cook according to package instructions for ‘al dente’ – 7-10 minutes. Then drain and set aside.
- Heat the same large pot over medium-low heat. Once hot, add 1/4 cup olive oil and 3 cloves smashed garlic. Sauté 1-2 minutes on both sides until garlic is fragrant and slightly golden brown.
- Remove garlic from pan. Set aside for serving.
- Next add red pepper flakes & Toh’s Daily Chili Garlic to infuse the olive oil for 1-2 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta, parsley, minced garlic and toss to coat.
- Remove from heat and sample pasta. Adjust seasonings as desired, adding salt or pepper if necessary.
